Terms and privacy
Onset is a tool for creators to run projects with their clients. Creators pay for a plan; clients use it free.
Your projects, files, contracts and messages belong to you. We don't sell your data or show ads.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Onset never sees or stores full card or bank numbers, or your tax ID.
Sign-in is by email code or Google. We store your name, email, phone if you add it, and what you put into projects.
E-signatures record the signer's name, consent, time, IP address, device and a fingerprint of the document. Contract templates are a starting point, not legal advice.
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. That removes your studio, projects and records.

New studios get a 7-day trial of Pro with no card. When it ends you move to Free (1 client and 1 project) unless you choose a plan.
Paid plans and extra seats renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing; your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free. Nothing you made is deleted.
Plan changes are prorated by Stripe. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
When a client pays a creator through Onset, the money goes to the creator's Stripe account. The creator, not Onset, is the seller and is responsible for their work, refunds and taxes. Stripe's processing fee is covered by the creator, or by the client when the creator chooses to pass on the card fee.
Don't use Onset to send spam, share content you don't have rights to, or get into accounts that aren't yours. We can suspend accounts that do.
Onset is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be down or never lose data, so keep your own copies of your files.
